Other matters.

Rhiannon reckons I fancy Jackie Whitehouse!

Yet more sightings of the two lovers walking arm in arm around the school.

As usual, a boring day.

A session from Microdisney last night with some brilliant songs ("464" and "Horse overboard"). * They've got an album called "We hate you South African Bastards".

I haven't written a song for days. Who cares? I've got one line "Why do we take it in turns to spit venom at each other?" which could go into "We should be talking to each other", if ever I write it.

To be honest I told Rhiannon for a joke to ask Beverly about Jackie cos Rhiannon is nosey and wanted to know who I fancied now that "one lover" has been taken away. I can't take Rhiannon seriously any more. Does - or did - anyone take her seriously? I doubt it.**

Rachel is acting very strangely and using Kinny to protect her from the evils of... Who knows? Me? Probably. She's probably told him I'm annoying her. I wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't be surprised by anything these days, unless something drastic happens, like Jackie saying she fancies me (bang goes the joke, eh?) Or that Howard was having an affair (Never!)

I can't take life seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if I was never asked out in my life, which I have said I can't take seriously so life is getting boring ***

Please God, let something happen. I hate boredom

Footnotes.

* Bloody good session, that. Due to the quirks of my shitty music centre, this entire session was recorded on one side of the stereo. Even now this session only sounds right to me if I switch off the right channel.

** I can't follow the logic of this. So did I start the Jackie Whitehouse rumour? This is probably a good time to examine the Rhiannon Paradox. Rhiannon and I absolutely hated each other. But did we protest too much? I secretly fancied her a bit and I think she liked me a bit too. Otherwise why would she invite me over to her house in July '86? We were both a bit different to everyone else, a bit quirky and never matched up with anyone in school so under other circumstances we may have been friends. If we had both settled for less than we wanted we'd have accepted each other. So always bear this in mind when I'm having a go at Rhiannon. I hope she's happy out there somewhere.

*** Teenage angst, argh!!!!
